Conspirescape is a humorous puzzle and exploration Virtual Reality game made for the Oculus Rift, in which the player takes the form of an alien captured by the government and taken to Area 51.
The player has to break out of a 50s-era laboratory and find their way back to their UFO while solving spatial and language-based puzzles along the way. By taking elements from the increasingly popular escape room genre and mapping dynamic virtual interactions over them, Conspirescape seeks to create a concise and light-hearted experience where the narrative is conveyed through interaction with objects and the exploration of the environment.
Conspirescape was our senior thesis project that I collaborated with Christina Goefron and Hasibe Erdemer in the Parsons Design & Technology program. It was presented as part of the Synthesis BFADT end-of-year showcase and Parsons Festival.
