Punk Band is a mobile game for Android in which the player leads a band cross-country. Along the way, you play concerts for money, earn the hard-won love of fans, encounter randomized narrative-based events, and try to balance a tight budget along with the contrasting personalities of your bandmates. Each bandmate has their own likes and dislikes, and be warned! They will leave if they become dissatisfied with your leadership!
The main gameplay is choice-based narratives with resources such as money, fans, and band member happiness. The game also includes a concert mini-game in which you could get or lose fans and money.
I designed and developed this game with Christina Goefron as part of our Core Studio Collab: Game Development course at the Parsons Design & Technology program.
